Die "Searchers" aus England waren in meiner "wilden" Zeit ständige Begleiter, ihr Sound war hervorragend, absolut mitreißend, eben das, was man damals so brauchte, um bei einer Party mal richtig abzutanzen und trotzdem zuzuhören.
Es fiel mir immer auf, da ich ja sehr oft damals den DJ machte, daß bei den Titeln der "Searchers" fast alle aus voller Seele und mit voller Kehle mitsangen, diese Art von Musik kam in Deutschland Anfang der 60er sehr gut an.
Ich höre diese Titel heute noch gerne, ein Stück Musikgeschichte aus England.
Noch zu erwähnen ist, daß die "SEARCHERS" auch in deutscher Sprache gesungen haben. Gar nicht schlecht, möchte ich hinzufügen.

In my so called "wild times" the "SEARCHERS" were amongst the bands I played as a DJ on garage parties and all other events in those wonderful times of my life.
The sound, the lyrics, everything was o.k., you could dance to the music and you could sing along with the band members listening to their fabulous songs. I often recognized, that all boys and girls dancing to the music sang the songs, too, they liked them so much.
If you should not know yet, they sang some of their hit in German, too, they made a good job and I like the performance up to date.
