The well known Buddy Holly Statue (formerly used to promote the musical "BUDDY")

has a new home in front of the Star - Diner Restaurant in Essen since 1-3-2011.

During my vacation at the Germany North Sea coast, I saw a boat in Carolinensiel,

a romantic village with 3 harbours in a row alongside the river Harle.

The name of the boat was " GRILLE ". GRILLE is German and it means " CRICKET ".
